Mensa Philippines is trial-testing a new procedure of web-based early announcement of qualifying test results.
During registration and before entering the testing room, test-takers are asked to pick from a "fishbowl" of random words. This then serves as an alias or codename for the test-taker. The test-taker writes this "codename" on his / her InfoSheet. The InfoSheets are matched with corresponding AnswerSheets only by a serial number.
After the AnswerSheets have been checked by independent test-checkers, the serial numbers of those who made the cut are then transmitted back to the Test Directors. The Test Directors match the serial numbers against the "codenames" on the InfoSheets. The Test Directors then transmit the "codenames" of those who passed to the Webmaster, who publishes the "codenames" of those who passed on this page.
The announcement on this page is unofficial, and meant solely as early advice. No payments nor applications for membership in Mensa will be accepted on the basis of publication of "codenames" on this page.
Qualifying test-takers should wait for their official results, which will be sent via postal mail. The postal mail results are sent to all test-takers regardless of whether they made the 98th percentile cut on this test, or not. The official results of qualifying tests are sent solely via post.
The Philippine Post works at slower than a snail's pace. We hope you'll be patient. If you do not receive your results through the post a month after you've taken the qualifying test, kindly e-mail our Test Director at ( testing @ mensa.ph ). The Test Director will then send you a duplicate of your test results via post. No test results shall be transmitted via email, GSM text messaging, nor verbally over the phone.
This announcement page is a trial procedure and may be discontinued at any time.
"Codenames" of those who didn't make the 98th percentile cut at the qualifying session held at the Mensa Day test on Sunday, 22 February follow:
